PALM BEACH ZOO COCONUT LORIKEETS

NEW
ORIGINAL & LIMITED EDITION PRINT
"COCONUT LORIKEETS"
Chinese Watercolor and Ink
on Watercolor Paper
Unframed: 21 x 21
Framed: 26 x 26

At the Palm Beach Zoo, I found a pampered menagerie housed amongst lush walls of tropical trees, wooden planked bridges, waterfalls, and intriguing narrow winding paths. All animals and humans appeared thrilled to be there. Care takers and volunteers are friendly, attentive, and informative. Signs along the way are fun and educational. Palm Beach Zoo is truly a special place with much support from the local community and it shows.

The Lorikeet Exhibit is truly unique. As you enter, you come face to face with these delightfully social birds. The day I visited, the zoo featured Lorikeets and two Red-Crested Turacos. I was immediately smitten and vowed to paint their portrait.

The original "Coconut Lorikeets" painting and the limited edition print is now available in my Windermere Gallery in Charleston and on my website. I treat my limited edition prints with same care as originals. To ensure quality and exactitude, I personally photograph original and prepare for printing. A Charleston artist/printer creates print on fine archival paper. After printing; I examine carefully and personally enhance with strokes of Chinese watercolor, sign, date, number, document, and retire completed edition of 100.

Thank you for your time and interest in my work. I welcome you to visit my website to see more about "Coconut Lorikeets". Contact me with any questions you may have at christinahewson@hotmail.com.
